Marrakech Nightlife Guide (2026): Clubs, Rooftops & Dinner Shows

Where to go out in Marrakech in 2026? To dance: Theatro, Babouchka and Leone, the three Hivernage clubs (expect around 500 MAD entry with a drink). For sunset: the Zest Rooftop Bar at the Four Seasons, or KABANA facing the Koutoubia. For a dinner show: Comptoir Darna or The Lotus Club. Here are our 12 tested addresses with real budgets — updated July 2026.

Nights start late in Marrakech. The local ritual: a rooftop drink between 6 and 8pm for sunset, dinner around 9pm, then the club after midnight. Most of the nightlife is packed into Hivernage, the hotel-and-club district ten minutes from the medina.

Three clubs dominate Hivernage. Theatro, set in a 60-year-old former music hall, remains the most famous — shows, international DJs and a different programme every night. Babouchka goes for baroque decor and house music. Leone, the newest, aims at premium electro with deep-house DJ sets in a contemporary setting. At all three, plan on roughly 500 MAD entry with a drink — considerably more if you want a table.

To start the evening up high: MySky (7th floor, 360° view, drinks from about 100 MAD) is the most affordable; the Zest Rooftop Bar at the Four Seasons has the most spectacular panorama in Hivernage; KABANA in the medina faces the illuminated Koutoubia; Dardar combines restaurant, bar and rooftop in the heart of the old town. La Pergola, the medina's jazz rooftop, is our favourite for a live-music evening (from 125 MAD).

The dinner show is a Marrakech institution. Comptoir Darna has been pairing Moroccan fine dining with dancers for over twenty years. The Lotus Club turns a 1930s villa into a cabaret. Palais Jad Mahal and Nouba run non-stop shows, while Palais Dar Soukkar stages three hours of performance in a renovated 16th-century palace. Budget: from about 500 MAD per person depending on the venue and menu.

Practical notes: smart dress is required almost everywhere (some clubs refuse sneakers), ID is useful, and reservations are strongly advised Thursday to Saturday. To get home, petits taxis are negotiated or app-booked — expect about double the day rate after midnight.
